Following Red Footprints, Carrying Forward the Spirit of Martyrs | Chengwu Students Conduct Study Tour at the Anti-Japanese War Site of "Smashing Tanks with Millstones"

To inherit the red gene, foster teenagers’ patriotism, and guide them to remember revolutionary history and draw strength for progress, Chengwu County, Heze City, recently organized students to visit the anti-Japanese war site of "Smashing Tanks with Millstones" in Liucaiyuan Village, Zhanglou Town. The activity encouraged students to step out of the classroom, perceive the extraordinary war years and carry forward the revolutionary spirit through on-site experience.

During the study tour, under the guidance of professional commentators, students visited the relic site, red cultural wall and historical exhibition area in an orderly manner. Based on detailed historical documents, precious historical photos and authentic relic scenes, the commentators vividly restored the fierce battle scenes more than 80 years ago, elaborated on touching stories of military and civilian unity in resisting Japanese invaders and defending their homeland, and thoroughly interpreted the red spirit embodied in the historic feat of "smashing tanks with millstones" — unity between the military and civilians, perseverance and fearless struggle.
